
Spring Step Count Challenge 2025 terms and conditions
Terms and conditions for the spring Step Count Challenge 2025 Competitions
1. The promoter is: Paths for All Partnership (PFA) whose registered office is at Kintail House, Forthside Way, Stirling FK8 1QZ in partnership with the University of Stirling.
2. The prize competitions are open to all participants in the spring Step Count Challenge 2025 which starts on Monday 5th May 2025 and finishes on Sunday 29th June 2025.
3. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her/their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
4. Mini Challenge prize. Each week there will be a mini challenge shared through the Monday and Thursday update email and on social media. Each week, the mini challenge will feature a prize of a £50 Cotswold Outdoor voucher. Two runners-up will each receive a selection of branded merchandise (e.g. a water bottle, tote bag or notebook). Route to entry will be through submitting a contribution to the mini challenge competition via an online form. Contributions may include a photograph or text submission in response to the mini challenge. The winner will be chosen by Paths for All's workplace team. The winner will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
5. Step Count Champion: The Step Count Champion competition will be open to all participants in the spring Step Count Challenge. Route to entry will be through an online form for team members to nominate teammates for the Step Count Challenge award. They will be asked to provide information on why their colleague should receive the award by providing a written testimony. People nominating colleagues will be asked to ensure they have the individual’s consent before they submit their nomination. Paths for All will follow up with the winner to carry out publicity for the award, e.g. a blog post or press release. The award will be judged by Paths for All’s Workplace team. The Step Count Champion will receive a £100 Cotswold Outdoor voucher. Two runners-up will each receive a £50 Cotswold Outdoor voucher. The winners will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. 6. Leader board Winners: At the end of the spring Step Count Challenge the top three teams on the leader board will win receive the following prizes: the team in first place will receive five £50 Cotswold Outdoor vouchers, one for each team member (up to, but not exceeding, 5 people); the second and third teams will each receive a selection of branded merchandise for each member of their team (up to, but not exceeding, 5 people). The team captains of the winning teams will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If the winners cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winners and pick a replacement winner. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. If the step counts of any members of the winning teams looks higher than might be expected, Paths for All may contact them to clarify and provide information to account for the high step count.
7. Paths for All reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize draws and competitions and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
