Spring Challenge 2024 Prizes Terms and Conditions

1. The promoter is: Paths for All Partnership (PFA) whose registered office is at Kintail House, Forthside Way, Stirling FK8 1QZ in partnership with the University of Stirling. 

2. The prize draws, and competitions are open to all participants in the spring Step Count Challenge 2024 which starts on Monday 29th April 2024 and finishes on Sunday 23rd June 2024. 

3. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her/their agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions. 

4. Grand Prize Draw: There will be a closing date for entry at 5.00pm on Friday 10th May 2024. The prize is as follows: The prize will be vouchers to the value of £1,000 for Macdonalds Hotels and Resorts. Winners will be chosen on the week following the closing date. The winner will be selected at random. The winner will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. 

5. Weekly Prize Draw: The weekly prize draw will take place each week during the spring Step Count Challenge. The prizes are as follows: One winner will receive a £100 Go Outdoors voucher to spend in-store or online and two runners-up will get a selection of Step Count Challenge merchandise including a Klean Kanteen water bottle, tote bag, Moleskine notebook and set of One Minute Mover tea towels. The winner will be selected at random. The winner will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. 6. Mini Challenge prize. Each week there will be a set of three mini challenges shared through the Monday and Thursday update email and on social media. Each week, the first of these mini challenges will feature a prize of a £100 Vue cinema voucher. Route to entry will be through submitting a contribution via an online form through Typeform. Contributions may include a photograph or text submission in response to the mini challenge. The winner will be chosen by Paths for All's workplace team. The winner will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. 7. Step Count Champion: The Step Count Champion competition will be open to all participants in the spring Step Count Challenge. Route to entry will be through an online form for team members to nominate teammates for the Step Count Challenge award. They will be asked to provide information on why their colleague should receive the award by providing a written testimony. People nominating colleagues will be asked to ensure they have the individual’s consent before they submit their nomination. Paths for All will follow up with the winner to carry out publicity for the award, e.g. a blog post or press release. The award will be judged by Paths for All’s Workplace team. The Step Count Champion will receive a Garmin Venu SQ2 health and fitness smartwatch and Step Count Challenge merchandise including a Klean Kanteen water bottle, notebook and set of One Minute Mover tea towels. Two runners-up will each receive Step Count Challenge merchandise including a Klean Kanteen water bottle, tote bag, Moleskine notebook and set of One Minute Mover tea towels. The winners will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner. 8. Leader board Winners:  At the end of the spring Step Count Challenge the top three teams on the leader board will win receive the following prizes: the team in first place will each receive a Fitbit Inspire 3 for each team member (up to, but not exceeding, 5 people); the second and third teams will each receive a £100 Go Outdoors voucher for each team member (up to, but not exceeding, 5 people). Two teams will also be selected at random to win Step Count Challenge merchandise including a Klean Kanteen water bottle, tote bag, Moleskine notebook and set of One Minute Mover tea towels.The team captains of the winning teams will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If the winners cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winners and pick a replacement winner. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. Prizes are subject to availability, and we reserve the right to substitute any prize with another of equivalent value without giving notice. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason. If the step counts of any members of the winning teams looks higher than might be expected, Paths for All may contact them to clarify and provide information to account for the high step count. 

9. Final Prize draw: A final prize draw will take place on completion of the challenge, week beginning 24th June 2024. The prizes are as follows: two Step Count Challenge teams will receive a selection of Step Count Challenge merchandise including a Klean Kanteen water bottle, tote bag, Moleskine notebook and set of One Minute Mover tea towels. The winners will be selected at random. The team captains of the winning teams will be notified by email within 28 days of the closing date. If the winners cannot be contacted or do not claim the prize within 14 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winners and pick a replacement winner. The prize is as stated, and no cash or other alternatives will be offered. The prize is not transferable. 10. Paths for All reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize draws and competitions and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
